The most haunted place in Northamptonshire

The Gypsy and the Witch

Today we visited this amazing place... St Johns Church Ruins. According to online sources it's the remains of a 14th-century building and is known as one of the 'most haunted' places in Northamptonshire. It was already in ruins by the early 18th century and the tower and spire collapsed about 1785. Various sources claim that some 'sightings' include a ghost of a crook named “Captain Slash” who was said to have attended the area. There have also been many sightings of children at the location. It is also reported that a man had supposedly murdered his partner, and as a punishment, was hanged from the bough of a giant oak tree. From a more personal insight, there was much energy present.... Have a look at our video to see what we felt and saw.
